A grant totaling $1365 was gifted by the Kansas City Missouri Auxiliary #47 to REAP [Raytown Emergency Assistance Program] as their chosen charity to help fund the needs of the senior citizens in our local community.

Jefferson City Eagles #2693 held their 25th Annual Rick Franklin Memorial Wheelchair Walk. The walk began the year after the late former Grand Justice Rick Franklin suffered a stroke, which left him wheelchair bound for the remainder of his life. More than $100,000 has been raised for the Missouri State President’s Projects since the walk began.

Missouri State Eagles made their charity check presentation to Camp Hope in October. Missouri donated a record breaking amount of $206,662 to Camp Hope and its founder, Mike White.  Presenters included Jr Past State President’s Don Elfline and Nancy Congdon, along with members of their Charity committee that was chaired by Grand Justice, Rod Owen and Leigh Ann Owen.  Leslie Franklin and Dan Drinkard served as co-chairs.
