For all you cyclists out there looking for fellow riders, the Brighton and Hove Section of the CTC (Cyclist Touring Club) has a club ride every week, always on Sundays. They usually ride around 45 miles in the winter and 60 miles or so in the summer. Lunch stops are invariably at a country pub and morning and afternoon tea stops are integral to the days ride.

You’ll get a warm welcome if you turn up with a well serviced bike, puncture repair kit, spare inner tube, water bottle, a banana or energy bar, a local map covering the area of the ride that day, wet weather gear and plenty of enthusiasm.

You can check upcoming rides and find one that suits you on the current ride list.
