Last weekend was a busy one for BHFOE and friends. As part of Global Frackdown Day, five members of BHFOE went to Chichester on Saturday, worked with a number of West Sussex FOE members, taking signatures from people who don’t want the “F” (fracking) word in their area, to send to West Sussex Council.

On Sunday, BHFOE members travelled to London to support the anti fracking Belt It Out @ Trafalgar Square event. There was fabulous singing, poetry and speeches from Friends of the Earth and Ian R Crane and most importantly a huge sense of solidarity with a global community fighting fracking. Members met with Romanian activists from Save Rosia Montana UK and some of the fabulous women who have been involved in the UK anti fracking campaign.
