Support Provided by the Grand Aerie for New Aerie/Auxiliary Organizers

The Grand Aerie offers a New Aerie/Auxiliary kit which breaks down, step by step, the processing of organizing a new Aerie/Auxiliary. It includes information from surveying the proposed site to scheduling the Institution. This kit is available to anyone upon request.

The Grand Aerie has also developed a “VIP” kit for distribution to local dignitaries such as the Mayor and members of the city council which helps to assist in explaining the benefits of having a local aerie organized in the community.

An Organizer Kit will be sent to the Aerie and Auxiliary organizers once they are commissioned. The Organizer Kit includes all the necessary forms, a New Organizer Guide, and publicity materials such as Memorial Foundation brochures, Who We Are brochure, applications and more.

Once the New Aerie/Auxiliary has been instituted, we will commission a Counselor. The Counselor provides assistance and guidance to the officers and members of a new Aerie/Auxiliary in regards to the correct procedures and functioning of the new Aerie/Auxiliary. The Counselor will be commissioned for a minimum of twelve months after the Institution.

The Grand Aerie also holds yearly New Aerie/Auxiliary Organizer workshop for those interested in Organizing at the International Grand Aerie Convention.

If at any time during the organization of the new Aerie/Auxiliary, questions arise, please contact the Grand Aerie Membership Department for assistance.
